Meet Tory, a multi-talented Aboriginal community leader who has dedicated his life to creating positive change for those in need.

 

With a passion for advocacy and mentorship, Tory has established himself as a voice for those with disabilities and a guide for young people navigating their way in the world.

 

But his talents don't end there - Tory is also a gifted music producer and performing artist.

As a disability advocate, Tory has worked tirelessly to raise awareness and promote inclusiveness for those living with disabilities.

 

His unwavering commitment to this cause has inspired others to join him in his efforts, leading to a more accepting and understanding community.

 

He has also been a strong advocate for the implementation of policies that better support individuals with disabilities, making sure their needs are met and they are able to lead fulfilling lives.

In addition to his work as a disability advocate, Tory is also a youth mentor who has made a significant impact on the lives of countless young people. With a warm and compassionate approach, Tory takes the time to listen to each young person's unique story, offering guidance, support and encouragement along the way.

 

His dedication to mentorship has inspired many young people to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential.

But Tory's talents don't stop there. He is also a gifted music producer and performing artist, using his music to bring communities together and spread messages of hope and positivity. With his unique sound and powerful lyrics, Tory has captivated audiences  and established himself as a rising star in the music industry.

He is a true inspiration to all and a testament to the power of compassion, dedication and hard work.

Empowering organisations to work effectively with Indigenous communities through culturally-sensitive consultancy services.

Tory can offer the following services to help organisations better understand and collaborate with First Nations communities:

  • Providing cultural awareness training to promote understanding and appreciation of cultural differences, protocols, and sensitivities of Indigenous communities.

  • Working with NGOs to establish effective community engagement strategies to build relationships with Aboriginal communities and create mutually beneficial partnerships.

  • Developing culturally appropriate policies and programs that are responsive to the needs and aspirations of Indigenous people.

  • Conducting research and evaluations to identify gaps and opportunities for the NGO to improve their services for Indigenous people.

  • Facilitating dialogue and mediating disputes between NGOs and Indigenous communities to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Representing the interests of Indigenous people and advocating for their rights and needs in the context of the NGO's work.

  • Sharing Indigenous knowledge and traditional ecological knowledge to inform and enhance the work of NGOs.

  • Providing guidance and advice on developing culturally appropriate leadership and governance structures that respect the rights and aspirations of Indigenous people.

  • Building the capacity of NGOs to work effectively with Indigenous people by providing training and mentoring support.

  • Conducting cultural competency assessments to help NGOs understand their strengths and weaknesses in working with Indigenous communities and identify areas for improvement.
